（三）Look and say的几点说明

1. （3）Whose bikes are these?

They’re ours.

（4）Whose stamps are these?

They’re Henry’s.

Are these stamps yours?

 

2. （1）That one is his. one在这里不是数词，而是代词。指上文中提到过的同类物品desk.     She’s got a doll and I want to buy one .

（2）This CD is a gift for you. 

CD是compact disc的缩写。指录音盘，而VCD则是音像光盘。

（3）Give the ball back to the children.

give back是“归还”的意思。

（4）How beautiful!

这是省略掉主谓语(they are )的感叹句。在这种感叹句中，主语若是it is 或they are 时，通常被省略。how一般修饰形容词和副词，加强说话人的语气。

（5）Ours? Oh, great!这是省略句，完整的句子应是：Are they ours? Oh, that’s great!

 

【典型例题】

1.This is her bike. (改为意义相同的句子。)

解析：形容词性物主代词的后面带有名词，而名词性物主代词之后没有名词。所指名词是在be动词的前面。

答案：This bike is hers.

 

2.Whose pencil-case is this? It’s _______.

解析：形容词性物主代词的后面带有名词，而名词性物主代词之后没有名词。
