Lesson One

（一）大声读单词：

（二）重点词汇：

1. parent

要点：parent – parents

          mom, dad ; mother, father

例句：She writes to her parents every month.

      她每个月写信给她的父母亲。

要点：grandparent – grandparents

          grandma, grandpa ; grandmother, grandfather

例句：My grandparents live with me.   我的祖父母和我住在一起。

 

2. both

要点：adj 两；双

例句：I want both baskets. 两个筐子我都要。

Both his brothers are tall. 他的两个兄弟都很高。

Both windows are closed. 两扇窗子都关着。

They are both fine, too. 他们两个也很好。

要点：pron. 两者；两人；双方

例句：Both of them are doctors. 他们两人都是医生。

Both of us want to go. 我们两人都想去。

结构：

both既可指人，又可指物，常位于be动词及助动词之后，行为动词之前。

如：

They are both right. 他们俩都对。

We both like singing. 我们俩都喜欢唱歌。

They have both asked the question.他们俩都问过我这个问题。

习惯用法：

both…and…两者都；既……又……；不但，而且

Both Tom and I went to Beijing yesterday.  我和汤姆昨天都去北京了。

She can both play the piano and sing.她既会弹钢琴，又会唱歌。

 

3. cook

要点：cook  v. 烹调,煮

例句：We cooked the fish in the evening. 我们晚上做鱼。

She often cooks for them. 她常常替他们做饭。

要点：n. 厨师

例句：My father is a cook. 我爸爸是一名厨师。

要点：cooker  n.

例句：Clean the area round the cooker.   把炊具周围弄干净。

 

4. beside  prep.  在旁边

要点：beside  prep.  在旁边; next to紧挨着的,相邻的

例句：We live beside the river. 我们住在河边。

He sat next to her. 他坐在她的旁边。（这里表明他们紧挨着坐着）

the house next to ours我们隔壁的房子

 

5. glasses

要点：经常以复数形式出现

例句：I can't read without my glasses.   我不戴眼镜不能读书。

He forgot to bring his glasses with him.   他忘了带眼镜。

 

6. live

例句：Where do you live?   你住在哪儿？

          I lived in Beijing last year.  我去年住在北京。

 

（三）重点句型：

1. how many 对数量进行提问（修饰可数名词）

How many friends do you have?   I have five friends.

How many apples are there? There are three apples.

how much 对数量进行提问（修饰不可数名词）

How much money do you have?   I have ten yuan.

2. there be

表示某地有某物

There is a book on the floor.  地上有一本书。

There are two bags on the chair.  椅子上有两个书包。

There isn’t a book on the floor.

There aren’t two bags on the chair.

Is there a book on the floor?

Are there two bags on the chair?

就近原则：

There is a book and two pens on the desk.

There are two pens and a book on the desk.

要点：词性变化

例句：My dad is driving a red car.  我的爸爸正开着一辆红色的轿车。 

drive – driver 

My dad is a good driver.  我爸爸是一名好司机。 

 

（三）课文解析：

1. He is an only child.

译文：他是一个独生子。

要点：only child  独生子, 元音因素开头

          an old friend / egg/ interesting story 

2. You can see him at our school.

译文：你能在我们学校见到他。

要点：you 主格，做主语

him 宾格，做see动词的宾语

our 形容词性物主代词，修饰school 做定语

3. Li Jun lives with his grandmother and grandfather, too.

译文：李俊也和他的奶奶爷爷住在一起。

要点：live with sb. 和某人住在一起。

例句：I don’t live with my parents after I was 18 years old.

我十八岁以后就不和父母住在一起了。

4. Li Jun’s family loves him a lot.

译文：李俊一家非常爱他。

要点：名词所有格“-’s”

例句：This is Lily’s room.  这是丽丽的房间。

要点：him 宾格，作为动词love的宾语

要点：a lot 表示喜欢的程度，等于very much

例句：Thank you very much.

Thanks a lot.

要点：Li Jun’s family 看作一个整体

          Li Jun’s family often travels around China.  李俊的一家经常在中国旅游。

5. Susan sometimes doesn’t eat dinner with them.

译文：苏珊有时候不和他们在一起吃饭。

要点：eat dinner with sb.  和某人一起吃饭

例句：I often eat dinner with my parents at home. 我经常和爸爸妈妈在家吃饭。

要点：them 是宾格，是介词with的宾语

3. 宾格的用法

（1）做及物动词的宾语。

1. 概说

（1）表示所有关系的代词称为物主代词

（2）物主代词：形容词性物主代词

2. 物主代词的用法

（1） 形容词性物主代词用作“定语”。

his songs  他的歌      her smile  她的笑容

their teachers  他们的老师
